Fieldora Dispatching

Dispatch software for HVAC, plumbing & electrical shops

A dispatch board your office and your techs will actually use. Drag jobs onto your crew, let conflict detection stop double-booking, and keep customers informed with automatic tracking links — no per-user fees, no implementation contract.

What the dispatch board does

Drag-and-drop dispatch board

Every unscheduled job sits in one queue. Drag it onto a tech's column and it's assigned — the job, the customer history, and the notes go with it. Works on desktop and phone.

Conflict detection that stops double-booking

Each job carries a duration. Drop a two-hour job where only an hour is open and the board blocks it instead of letting you promise a customer a window you can't hit.

Route-ordered stops

One tap orders each tech's day by drive time using geocoded addresses, with travel buffers between stops. Numbered stops show the order at a glance, plus total mileage for the day.

Live crew map

Opt-in location sharing shows where every tech is, refreshed every 30 seconds, with live/stale badges. Useful when a customer calls asking where their technician is.

Customer tracking links

When a tech marks themselves en route, the customer automatically gets a text or email with a tracking link — no login required. Fewer 'where is he?' phone calls to the office.

Day and week views

Run today's board or look at the seven-day grid to balance the load across the week. Overloaded days are flagged before they become a problem.

How a job moves through your day

1

Jobs land in the queue

Jobs from your online booking page, phone calls, or recurring memberships all arrive in one 'Needs dispatch' list, sorted by priority.

2

Assign with one drag

Drop the job on a tech's column. The board checks for conflicts against everything else on their day and shows each tech's booked hours.

3

The tech gets notified

Assignment emails go out automatically. On their phone, techs see the day as simple job cards with one-tap navigation and customer call/text buttons.

4

Customers stay informed

En-route status triggers the tracking link. Completion triggers the invoice and review request. The office never re-enters anything.

Common questions

How many technicians can I dispatch at once?

The board is built for shops running 1–15 trucks. Each tech gets their own column with booked hours and route order. There's no per-user fee, so adding a dispatcher or a new tech costs nothing extra.

Does dispatching work with online booking?

Yes. Jobs booked through your public booking page check real availability against the schedule before offering a time slot, so a customer can never book a slot your board can't cover.

Can techs see their schedule on their phone?

That's the primary design. The 'My Day' view gives each tech job cards with tap-to-navigate, tap-to-call, job timers, photos, and notes. It also works offline and syncs when signal returns.

How does Fieldora dispatch compare to ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro?

For a shop under 15 trucks, you get the same core workflow — drag-and-drop board, conflict protection, tech notifications, and customer tracking — without per-user pricing or an implementation contract. What you give up is call-center IVR and dispatcher boards designed for 20+ trucks.

Does it handle recurring maintenance visits?

Membership plans auto-spawn their scheduled visits, which appear in the dispatch queue like any other job. Seasonal tune-ups stop falling through the cracks.
